內容簡介：
上了大學，作業不再是簡單的選擇題與簡答題，而需要用文字適切地論述自己的想法。到底寫報告之前該如何做準備？怎樣才能簡潔扼要地表達論點？而好的報告又需要哪些寫作策略和撇步呢？本工作坊將從寫作題目的分析開始，介紹各式論說文與段落的結構、使文章或段落具備一致性與完整性的方法，並透過範本實例分析，讓你成功掌握實用寫作技巧。歡迎所有想要加強寫作能力的同學共襄盛舉。
This workshop is designed to help students develop practical knowledge and strategies on how to write an effective paragraph/essay. It will cover:
(1) some basic methods in finding a topic, gathering data, and writing an outline.
(2) the good organizations of writing different types of paragraphs/essays, such as process, classification, cause/effect, comparison/contrast, and argumentative paragraphs/essays. The location of thesis statement and the use of transition signals in different types of essays will also be introduced.
(3) the rules of writing a (an) paragraph/essay to achieve unity and coherence, such as always discussing only one idea in a paragraph, staying on the topic in your supporting sentences, and using repetition of key nouns, consistent pronouns, transition signals and different kinds of logical orders.
(4) some fundamental principles of paraphrasing and summarizing to avoid plagiarism in academic writing, such as citing the sources appropriately, and using your own words and your sentence structure without changing the meaning of the original.
Model paragraphs and essays will be analyzed and discussed in the workshop. This workshop will be particularly helpful for the students who want to improve their paragraph and essay writing. All are welcome!

美國哈佛大學教育學碩士，英國劍橋大學教育所博士，現任中山大學外文系講師，臺灣大學寫作教學中心教師。
